Olympus EXERA II TJF-Q180V ERCP Scope: Unique Dual Guidewire Locking Mechanism for Fast, Secure Short Guidewire Exchange, Enhancing Flexibility and Reliability

Dual Locking Mechanism
Securely Locks 0.025” and 0.035” Guidewires Completely redesigned to ensure greater reliability and flexibility, the Olmpus EXERA II TJF-Q180V’s dual locking mechanism is optimized to exploit the reactive force of the guidewire. The forceps elevator has been modified to broaden the range of scope positions in which the Dual Locking Mechanism Securely Locks 0.025” and 0.035” Guidewires guidewire can be securely locked. Thanks to the firmer grip of the new dual locking mechanism, a 0.025-inch guidewire can now be locked in addition to a 0.035-inch guidewire in either a Center or Side Lock mechanism.
  • Side Lock: A new side lock section has been added to the side of the forceps elevator to increase guidewire locking flexibility. It physically fixes the guidewire even when it is positioned to the side of the forceps elevator. When the papilla is in the blue area as shown in the figure on the right, the Side Lock will be used.
  • Center Lock: With its firmer grip and a design that takes advantage of the guidewire’s reactive force, the center lock section, the V-Groove, on the forceps elevator has a reconfigured groove shape that locks the guidewire more securely than ever. When the papilla is in the green area as shown in the figure on the right, the Center Lock will be used.
The Olympus TJF-Q180V Video Duodenoscope provides visualization of the gastrointestinal tract down to the duodenum in a minimally invasive procedure. Its slim 11.3-millimeter insertion tube glides easily into the delicate human anatomy which does not require any significant recovery after a non-sedated procedure. Its enhanced valve design for air or water and suction makes easy removal of visual obstruction for a clearer view. The distal end can also bend up, down, right, and left to allow a more detailed inspection. The Olympus TJF-Q180V works with Olympus CV-190, Olympus CV-180, Olympus CV-160 and Olympus CV-140 video processors.

MD Endoscopy Warranty Terms & Conditions for Equipment Purchases | Complete Refurbishment Repairs:

The following warranty terms will last for 24-months from the date of purchase.

  • Coverage shall include all parts (24-months) and labor (24-months) incurred to the customer from any manufacturer or replacement part defects.
  • The customer shall be responsible for parts and labor charges for any and all repairs determined by MD Endoscopy to be caused by misuse, mishandling, excessive wear & tear, or accidental damage.
  • The customer shall be responsible for any and all shipping charges incurred, if equipment is determined to be damaged through misuse or mishandling.
  • Warranty shall be null and void if determined by MD Endoscopy that the equipment has been sent to an outside vendor for parts or labor during the warranty period.
  • Warranty shall also be voided should the equipment be sold to another individual or company.

EXAMPLES of client misuse, mishandling, or accidental damage include:

  1. Puncturing the scopes internal tubing with biopsy forceps, cleaning brush, or other items.
  2. Dropping or knocking equipment.
  3. Flooding of scope or equipment through failure to adhere to leak test procedures or misuse.
  4. Instruments closed or slammed in cabinet, doorway, or similar structures.

THERE MAY BE FURTHER INSTANCES OF ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE NOT LISTED ABOVE, IN WHICH THE WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER PARTS OR LABOR CHARGES, MD Endoscopy RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE THIS DETERMINATION.

Warranty agreement shall begin on date of client purchase and shall run concurrently for 24 months, including weekends and holidays until expiration.
